Boscobel

Built in 1887 by Col. James Foster as a 22 room cottage, this beautifully restored, Victorian era home is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The moment you step into the front entry a romantic Victorian past becomes the present. Our elegant common rooms are decorated with Victorian styled wall coverings, original maple floors and several working fireplaces.

Many of our charming guestrooms and spacious suites are furnished with fine antiques, period accessories, gracious touches and comfortable surroundings. Some have working fireplaces and garden views. All have king or queen beds and private baths. All guest rooms have air conditioning.

Chauffeur’s Cottage

Originally built in 1888 as the servant’s quarters for Boscobel and sitting just behind the main house, it has been completely renovated to house three of our finest accommodations. There are two private guest rooms on the first floor and a private suite occupies the full second floor with a private porch nestled in the treetops. All the rooms in the Chauffeur’s Cottage have king size beds, gas fireplaces, full baths, television, air conditioning and perfect Victorian touches.
