Boscobel Guest Rooms – Located In The Main House. Built in 1887 by Col. James Foster as a 22 room mansion, this beautiful, authentically restored, Victorian Mansion is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The moment you step into the front entry a romantic Victorian past becomes the present. Our elegant common rooms are decorated with Victorian wall coverings, original maple floors and several working fireplaces.
The Chauffeur’s Cottage – Originally built in 1897 as the servant’s quarters for the main Mansion, it has been completely renovated to house three of our finest accommodations. There are two guest rooms and one suite. All the rooms in the Cottage have king size beds, gas fireplaces, full baths, television and perfect victorian touches. Our Honeymoon Suite occupies the entire second floor of this building and enjoys a large open porch overlooking the grounds.
Garden Cottages – Delightfully private cottages sitting just beyond our gardens offer true Downeast charm. Each cottage has a king size bed, a cozy sitting area surrounding a gas fireplace and television, full bath and a private sun porch.
Acadia Cottage – Designed to compliment the victorian style of Boscobel, the Acadia Cottage reflects the cottage style buildings of Old Bar Harbor, with luxury appointments and modern amenities. The four spacious guestrooms have queen or king size beds, television, gas fireplaces, and jetted tubs. Acadia Cottage also offers a cozy common room on the first floor and a large covered front porch.
