Manor House Inn Bed and Breakfast, built in 1887 as a “Rusticator’s Cottage” is located in the beautiful West Street Historic District of Bar Harbor, Maine, one of Bar Harbor’s most convenient locations. As our guest you are just a leisurely walk to the village of Bar Harbor and yet just far enough away from the village for you to unwind from a busy day and breathe in our relaxing ocean air. In the Village of Bar Harbor you will enjoy unique shops, first class restaurants, and expansive views of Frenchman Bay. Acadia National Park, one of the most celebrated destinations in the United States and certainly Mount Desert Island, serves as our back-yard playground with an entrance just 1 mile from our door.
Manor House Inn offers you rooms in five unique buildings, each with a distinctive, peaceful and romantic bed and breakfast experience.The original Victorian cottage called Boscobel, the Chauffeur’s Cottage, two delightfully private Garden Cottages and Acadia Cottage are all surrounded by manicured lawns, gardens and covered porches offering a very private space from which to plan your next Mount Desert Island adventure.
