Enjoy A Virtual Tour of the Manor House Inn and Bar Harbor Maine

Our Virtual Tour of Bar Harbor Maine featuring the Manor House Inn, includes the summit of  Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park – the tallest mountain along the eastern coast of the United States. During certain times of the year, it is the first place in the U.S. to see sunrise.

The Manor House Inn is located in the beautiful tree lined West Street Historic District, one of Bar Harbor’s most convenient in town locations. The inn is just a short walk to all village shopping, restaurants and ocean front activities. In addition Acadia National Park is just 1 mile away. Manor House Inn consists of the original three story Victorian Mansion, built in 1887 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and our Bar Harbor Cottages, the Victorian Chauffeur’s Cottage, two delightfully private Garden Cottages and Acadia Cottage. Our spacious 1-1/2 acre landscaped grounds provide you with ample parking and room to relax and enjoy the gardens as you plan your next adventure.

Acadia – The First Eastern National Park

People have been drawn to the rugged coast of Maine throughout history. Awed by its beauty and diversity, early 20th-century visionaries donated the land that became Acadia National Park. The park is home to many plants and animals, and the tallest mountain on the U.S. Atlantic coast. Today visitors come to Acadia to hike granite peaks, bike historic carriage roads, or relax and enjoy the scenery.

Acadia National Park’s carriage road system, built by John D. Rockefeller Jr., has been called “the finest example of broken stone roads designed for horse-drawn vehicles still extant in America.” Today, you can hike or bike 45 miles of these scenic carriage roads in the park.
